How to Clear Your SiteGround Cache to Force Changes to Appear

WordPress | 0 comments

Every once in a while you might make some changes to your SiteGround website and then not see them appear when you check it in another browser or on your phone, etc. This is usually due to a caching issue. The good news is: it’s super easy to clear your SiteGround cache.

Check out the quick video below 👇

How to clear the SiteGround cache:

Option One: Clear your cache with the SiteGound plugin

If you have the SiteGround plugin installed, you’ll notice a button labeled “Purge SG Cache” at the top of your screen. Clicking this button will clear the cache for your WordPress site, making the changes instantly visible to others.

Look for the yellow arrow above (I know it’s hard to see!)

Option 2: Alternative Method through SiteGround Settings

For those without the SiteGround plugin, fear not. Navigate to your SiteGround settings, select the specific website you’re working on, and go to Site Tools. From there, access the Speed, Caching section, and under Dynamic Cache, you can flush the cache by clicking on it. Make sure you’re doing this for the right website to avoid any confusion.

Good luck!
